
Eliza Kate Coupe (born April 6, 1981)[1] is an American actress, comedian , and model, known for playing Jane Kerkovich-Williams , the character of Jane in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, Denise "Jo" Mahoney in the final two seasons of the medical comedy-drama Scrubs, her starring role in the role of Tiger in the Hulu comedy series Future Man, and her character of Hannah Wyland in Quantico. In 2022, she was a character in the Fox comedy Pivoting. She was an actor in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who Killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. She was on tour in France in 2003 as a soldier in an all-female King Lear version. The one-woman sketch show she performed, The Patriots, premiered at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5th on the 5th of November in 2005. It won her the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was married to acting instructor and puppeteer Randall Whittinghill from December 2007 to June 2013.She announced her engagement to Darin Olien, founder of lifestyle brand SuperLife on Instagram on November 27, 2014. They were married on December 24 of 2014 while they were on holiday in New Zealand. They filed for divorce in 2018. Between April 2011 until May 2013, Coupe was a star in ABC's ensemble comedy show Happy Endings, along with Zachary Knighton (Adam Pally), Damon Wayans Jr., Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton. After the show's third season was over, ABC cancelled the show despite widespread praise. Following the time that Happy Endings was cancelled, she played a recurring part in the final season of House of Lies. She also appeared alongside Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It premiered on October 28 in 2014. In the following season, she played the role of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
