Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress, who primarily works in Hindi movies. She is one of the top-paid actors in India, and her accolades include the three Filmfare Awards. Time magazine named her as one of the top 100 individuals all over the world in 2018. Also, she received the TIME100 Impact Award for 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. When she was a teen she participated in badminton competitions at tournaments at national level, but decided to end her sport to become a fashion model. Then, she was receiving requests to perform in films and her first performance was that of Aishwarya the Kannada title character. Padukone played opposite Shah Rukh Khan a dual character in Om Shanti Om, her first Bollywood film. It brought her an award from the Filmfare Award as Best Female debut.
