The actress was on numerous successful TV shows, and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she quit the entertainment world to spend time with her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was not easy for her. People magazine released a retrospective of her career back in 2000. Elson said being a teenager in the spotlight was not easy. Green-eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th in 1969. She grew to be an actress who traveled because her father had a job as an advertising executive. Prior to turning ten the actress had been living in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. In San Diego Andrea got an agent and won the first part she auditioned for. Fusco explained the decision with the statement "ALF has a lifespan of 285 years which means he's old enough to drink beer." Since ALF's popularity increased with children, NBC informed Fusco that the actor could not consume alcohol due to the fact that children were watching. It was a bad example. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF did not have the maturity required to not drink and drive wasn't right. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was successfully treated and continued to be in remission through the year 2019. He passed away from the illness on June 26, 2019, at the age of 75, at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
