Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actress. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role she received an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress in The romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second-youngest winner in Oscar the history of Oscars. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who when she was a child, won the Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding supporting actress. She was the fiery daughter of Holly Hunter's portrayer The Piano. Following a prompt to auditions open at age nine and having no prior experience acting when she was selected for the role of Flora McGrath role. Flora was the daughter of the Scottish pianist who was mute. The couple were relocated into New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century to arrange a marriage. As a teenager, she relocated to America. Paquin had a small part in the role of Jane Eyre's title character while she was just a young girl as part of Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and she was a leading character in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin had a small role in the television movie of 1997 version to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. Also, she played Princess of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). The actress played teens in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) and A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
