Swift shed the country influences as if they were an additional layer of skin and revealed she was among the most talented singers/songwriters in her generation. Swift could make the occasion personal, or use it for her benefit. Swift's early tracks, such as the neotribute to Tim McGraw were a testament to her talent. But, her follow-up album Fearless in 2008 showcased a songwriter finding her voice as well as a broader fan base. Fearless became a massive success not just in America with six singles were certified platinum in the wake of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But it also smashed records across the globe. Swift's new album, Speak Now, released just two years after the previous one, built on the success of this album. It helped propel Swift to the heights of fame. The singer's popularity increased throughout her three subsequent albums - Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift had now established herself in the genre she was a part of. In the end, when she refocused her music by releasing stripped-down albums like 2020, folklore and Evermore but she was still on top. This position was maintained with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog, as along with Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
